Eiger Topographical Framed 3D Map, Aged Metal Finish, Swiss Alps

A beautifully detailed physical 3D topographical map of the Eiger, supplied professionally framed and ready to hang on the wall or display freestanding.

Made using real terrain data, this is an accurate scale relief model of the Eiger in Switzerland. The map is cast by hand in an aged metal finish, mounted on white faux leather, and finished with an engraved wooden title plate fixed with solid brass screws.

About the map

The Eiger sits centrally within the map, allowing its dramatic alpine terrain, steep faces, ridgelines, and surrounding Swiss mountain landscape to be displayed in fine detail.

The 3D map itself measures approximately 15 x 15cm.

The frame is a high-quality black wood-effect frame.

Why the Eiger?

The Eiger is one of the most famous mountains in the Alps, known for its imposing profile and legendary mountaineering history. Its steep faces, dramatic ridges, and surrounding alpine terrain make it especially well suited to 3D relief casting.

How it’s made

Each map begins with accurate mapping data, which is processed using modern 3D terrain modelling techniques. From this, an original pattern is produced and a mould is made.

The maps are then cast by hand using a process known as cold casting, where resin is mixed with real metal powders to create a genuine metal-effect surface. Each casting is given an aged patina, polished by hand, mounted, framed, and carefully packed.
