K2 Topographical Map, Framed 3D Mountain Relief, Aged Metal Finish Cold Casting

A beautifully detailed physical 3D topographical map of K2, supplied professionally framed and ready to hang on the wall or display freestanding.

Made using real terrain data, this is an accurate scale relief model of K2 and the surrounding mountain landscape. The piece is cast by hand in an aged metal finish, mounted on white faux leather, and framed in a quality black wood-effect frame.

The pictured version is finished in Aged Silver, but this design is also available in Copper and Bronze.

About the map

The area captured is shown at a scale of 1:151,351 and includes K2 along with the surrounding valleys and nearby mountains, including Skilbrum, Praqpa Kangri, and Broad Peak.

K2 sits centrally on the map, with its steep ridges, sharp triangular form, and surrounding glacial valleys making it especially striking as a 3D relief casting. The aged silver finish brings out the rugged texture of the terrain and gives the piece a bold, dramatic appearance.

Size and finish

The 3D map itself measures approximately 15 x 15cm.

It is mounted on a white faux leather backing and supplied in a quality wooden frame. The engraved wooden plaque is fixed with solid brass screws for a traditional, premium finish.

How it’s made

Each map is created using accurate mapping data and modern 3D terrain modelling techniques. From this, an original pattern is produced and a mould is made.

The maps are then cast by hand using a process known as cold casting, where resin is mixed with real metal powders to create the metal-effect surface. Each casting is given an aged patina, polished by hand, mounted, framed, and carefully packed.
